News : Ribbon Cut, Training Begins at Jenkins Call Center
Jenkins, KY, USA, Sept 8, 2015 -- Employees began their training almost immediately following the ribbon-cutting at their new place of work Tuesday.
"Initially we came to Jenkins because our charity wanted to find a place in America that we could reach out to and perhaps an area that has some issues with jobs, et cetera, and livelihood," said Tommie Lane, president of the Healthcare National Marketing as well as the SmileFaith Foundation.
Kathy Edwards will be serving as a trainer in the new call center.
"It's going to be fun," said Edwards. "Because I'm going to be able to train them to the best of my ability and show them some of the training that I've received, and make them a better person at the job that they're doing."
The call center is set to employ 50 people, with hopes to double that number within the next year.
