News : RK. Charitas Hospital Improves Emergency Communications with Spok
Perth, Australia, July 22, 2015 -- Spok, Inc. announces RK. Charitas Hospital is enhancing hospital communications and patient care with Spok clinical alerting. The Indonesian hospital uses the solution to send emergency notifications quickly to mobile caregivers’ Spok pagers to speed response to time-critical patient situations. Spok was introduced to Charitas through local partner PT Ayari Persada.
Charitas employs Spok’s effective wireless messaging solution to improve emergency communications across the entire organisation. With emergency call buttons located throughout the hospital, caregivers simply push a button and the Spok clinical alerting solution sends a notification to the appropriate staff member’s pager. Additionally, when a code blue occurs, staff can pick up a nearby phone and dial into the Spok solution to quickly initiate notifications to the right on-duty code team. The alerts include the specific location of the emergency, which improves response times by enabling staff to arrive at the right location without spending time searching for the patient.
