News : Robi Powers Voice Access to National Information Portal
Dhaka, Bangladesh, April 13, 2016 -- Bangladeshi mobile phone operator Robi has signed a MoU with Access2Information (a2i). Access2Information (a2i) will provide voice access to the National Information Portal. Citizens from now on will be able to access all information available on the portal using their mobile phones. a2i and Robi will jointly set up of a National Contact Centre (NCC) to implement the project.
Citizens using a mobile connection from any operator will be able to access information from the NCC through voice call, SMS, IVR, social media and email. Robi will also assist a2i in promoting initiatives to facilitate citizen centric e-Sheba and mobile apps implementation.
