News : Ryder Used-Truck Customer Service Adds Language Translation
Dec 29, 2014 -- Ryder System is partnering with the telephone language interpretation service Language Select to provide support for more than 200 different languages for the company’s pre-owned vehicle customers.
Customers calling Ryder will bring a Language Select interpreter on the line. The customer’s needs will be translated to the Ryder sales representative and the appropriate pre-owned vehicle information will be translated back to the customer.
The service is available during the operating hours of Ryder’s Used Truck Centers.
"Language should not be a barrier to ensuring we provide the best pre-owned vehicle solution to our diverse base of customers across the globe," said Eugene Tagney, vice president of asset management and vehicle sales at Ryder.
