News : Teleperformance USA Considers Louisville Facility
Aug 28, 2014 -- Teleperformance USA, a customer service company, received preliminary approval for tax incentives from the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority board Thursday.
A customer service company based in Salt Lake City is considering opening a facility in Louisville.
TPUSA Inc., doing business as Teleperformance USA, received preliminary approval for tax incentives from the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority board Thursday. The company plans to invest and create 750 jobs in the next 10 years, according to its KEDFA filing.
Teleperformance USA is a contact center and client relationship management company. It will provide customer services to financial companies, according to the KEDFA filing. It currently has an office in Frankfort at 306 W. Main St., according to the Kentucky Secretary of State website.
Also on Thursday, the Louisville-based technology firm V-Soft Consulting Group Inc. received preliminary approval from KEDFA for a state tax incentive.
The company provides specialty information-technology staffing and training, and custom applications development, among other services. V-Soft is headquartered on Stanley Gault Parkway, but it has satellite offices elsewhere in the United States and in India.
With the tax credit, V-Soft plans to expand its Louisville office, increasing its sales force and creating a central location for additional technical personnel. The company plans to hire 25 new employees. It currently has 55 full-time workers in Louisville.
