News : SAS Signs New Agreement with CSC to Support its Digital Transformation
Denmark, Copenhagen, May 18, 2016 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC), a global provider in IT services and solutions, has entered a new strategic agreement with SAS, Scandinavian Airline Systems to manage key parts of the airline’s IT infrastructure to help SAS transform to a next-generation IT environment.
The agreement between SAS and CSC extends until 2020 and covers several of the airline’s most critical environments, including Mainframe Services and Technical Operation Services, as well as Application Management, Network Management and Data Center Services. These services will be delivered from local Nordic resources and from CSC’s offshore locations.
SAS’s digital transformation journey has already been initiated by moving the airline out of a dedicated legacy data center into new, emerging data center services that will support SAS for future IT.
