News : SEI Named Best Outsourcing Provider by Financial Technologies Forum
Oaks, PA, Jun 16, 2014 -- SEI announces that it received the 2014 Financial Technologies Forum News Innovation award for "Best Outsourcing Provider." The FTF Innovation Awards are given annually to celebrate and recognize the professionals, financial technology vendors, service providers, industry bodies, and regulators that have made significant strides and noteworthy achievements in operational excellence during the previous year.
An independent panel of judges nominated SEI for a number of significant developments made over the past year. Judges highlighted enhancements to SEI's proprietary online Manager and Investor Dashboards, which support more detailed, transparent, and customizable views, resulting in greater insights for asset managers and their investors. SEI was also recognized for other key technology upgrades, including those that help streamline managers' back- and middle-office investment operations. After nominations were announced, the final decisions were based on votes from industry peers, clients, and other industry professionals.
"To be recognized as the best outsourced provider in our industry is a significant achievement of which we are extremely proud," said Stephen G. Meyer, Head of SEI's Investment Manager Services division, Executive Vice President of SEI Corporation. "With the increasing demands of investors and the market environment, we are seeing managers tasked with navigating a new operational frontier, one where operational capabilities are front and center. Understanding this, and striving to provide innovative solutions to the buy-side, we have been investing in our operational platform on an on-going basis. This award is a validation of those efforts, and reaffirms our commitment to being a valued partner for our clients."
