News : SendHub Joins International IT Experts Cameo Global
San Francisco, CA, USA, June 6, 2016 -- International Cloud Telecoms provider Cameo Global recently acquired SendHub, a business messaging startup, welcoming the brand to Cameo’s network of technology businesses across five countries.
Cameo, which provides contact center solutions, sought SendHub out to fulfill its growing need for expertise in the messaging space. SendHub’s focus on simple messaging solutions for immediate deployment has attracted diverse customers such as Lyft, Teach for America and Booz Allen Hamilton.
"We’ve had several corporations express acquisition interest over the company’s history," Ash Rust, co-founder and CEO of SendHub, explained, "but Cameo connected through one of our investors, presenting a compelling story about the next generation of their company and how messaging would lead that change."
The acquisition is an exciting time for both companies, allowing Cameo to seamlessly add messaging capabilities to its own network of global connectivity services and letting SendHub focus all of its energy on its messaging product.
"The next generation of Contact Centers is coming, and it’s going to be all about messaging. We fundamentally believe that this is a global opportunity, and SendHub is a big part of how we can seize that opportunity," said Randy Stockton, chairman of Cameo Global.
