News : Sennheiser Celebrates 70th Anniversary
Old Lyme, CT, USA, Aug 28, 2015 -- Sennheiser, a manufacturer of headset and audio solutions, is celebrating its 70th anniversary in the marketplace. In light of this milestone, its Contact Center and Office (CC&O) segment continues to demonstrate market growth, both year-over-year and since its initial launch in the telecommunications space in 2011.
For the period between July 2014 and July 2015, Sennheiser‘s CC&O segment experienced year-over-year growth in sales of its headsets and speakerphone products for the unified communications and office environments.
In 2014 and 2015, company sales have been supported by product launches such as the SP 10 and SP 20 speakerphones. Meanwhile, the SD Series of DECT wireless headsets launched this past fall, rounding out Sennheiser’s portfolio for office environments.
Sennheiser CC&O also increased its staff by approximately 170 percent over the past year to accommodate growth, significantly expanding its sales, marketing and administrative teams.
Additionally, the company has established formal strategic relationships with a list of unified communications partners. Sennheiser will continue to develop these alliances globally, in order to deliver on more sales opportunities both locally and internationally.
"In the future, we will align our product development even more closely to customers’ true needs, wherever they arise," Daniel Sennheiser adds, "whether that‘s on live stages, at professional studio productions, or in offices – while always striving to achieve acoustic perfection," says Dr. Andreas Sennheiser, co-CEO of the company alongside his brother Daniel Sennheiser.
