News : The Contact Company Opens Second Office
Birkenhead, UK, Dec 15, 2015 -- The boss of a call centre business in Birkenhead is planning to double turnover in five years.
Asif Hamid, chief executive of The Contact Company (TCC), says the opening of a second office at Kingsgate, Tower Wharf, Birkenhead, will be the "springboard" to growth in the region and expects to recruit a significant number of extra staff.
Mr Hamid said his company was already recruiting between 50-100 people a month to meet demand and predicted this would increase still further.
"Our headcount is around 1,500 but that’s only going to grow as we move forward.
"We celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2016 and now we’ve got the infrastructure in place to take The Contact Company to the next level."
"Our staff probably spend more time at work than at home so we wanted a building to reflect that. It had to be the right standard and the right space," he said. "It’s a glass-fronted building with iconic views. People always say the best way to see Liverpool waterfront is from across the water and you can do that from here."
