News : ShoreTel Offers UC Service for Williams Martini Racing Team
March 14, 2014 -- ShoreTel, a provider of phone systems and unified communications products, is delivering a comprehensive UC infrastructure across the Williams Martini Racing’s entire enterprise as part of a worldwide technical partnership. The ShoreTel UC platform will support collaboration with Williams Martini Racing team-wide race strategists at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
During the 2013-2014 Formula One seasons, ShoreTel is providing its UC service to the Williams organisation including Williams Martini Racing and Williams Advanced Engineering operations around the world. In addition, ShoreTel’s integrated communications are facilitating the team’s on-track activities at all the races to ensure a global teamwork.
In particular, ShoreTel is providing a ShoreTel IP-PBX, ShoreTel Mobility client licenses to extend UC applications to mobile devices, Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) handsets, conferencing services, and a ShoreTel Enterprise Contact Centre (ECC) with multimedia capabilities for communications before, during and after the races.
