News : ShoreTel Wins 2013 ‘Rising Star’ Award
SINGAPORE, Oct 31, 2013 - ShoreTel (NASDAQ: SHOR), a provider of unified communications (UC) solutions, announces it won the 2013 NetworkWorld Asia Readers' Choice 'Rising Star' Award for Communication and Collaboration. NetworkWorld Asia and Networks Asia organised the 8th Annual Readers' Choice Awards and announced the winners on 30 October at a celebratory ceremony recognising vendors that drive innovation in Asia with superior technologies and solutions.
The Rising Star category is dedicated especially to new players that have demonstrated excellent capabilities to innovate unique solutions for businesses in today's fast-paced IT marketplace. ShoreTel won the award after NetworkWorld Asia's readers - who include CIOs, technology directors, IT project heads, network managers and data centre managers - voted the company the newcomer with the most potential to make a major impact with customers, given its communication and collaboration solutions.

Voting was open to all readers, on a private web-based survey site, with invitations sent to CIOs, senior technology managers and IT project heads in end-user organisations from our readership base. 349 respondents cast votes for the top technology vendors across more than 30 categories of the key IT products and services driving enterprise and SMB technology spending today in Asia.
