News : Shrewsbury Care Provider Seals Investment in Philippines Call Centre
Shrewsbury, England, Nov 7, 2017 - A care provider in Shropshire is to diversify to provide care by telephone after an investment in a call centre in the Philippines.
CLCA Company, based at Battlefield Enterprise Park in Shrewsbury, is diversifying into the call centre industry.
The investment has created an overseas call centre operation based in the Philippines to provide 24 hour telephone support to home care professionals operating across the UK.
Managing director Cherry Adams said: "The new investment will allow us to expand our operation into providing 24hr support to not only our own staff operating across the region but also to our competitors and similar operators across the entire UK, delivering vital back up services and peace of mind, simply a phone call away.
"Running a business is tough with no respite and being tied to the business 24 hours a day but the rewards far outweigh the downsides even after working long hours.
"The joy of seeing our efforts appreciated or simply a big smile from one of our clients makes it all worthwhile."
The investment has been backed by Barclays, and business manager Ruth Maddox said: "Barclays research identifies the significant role "entrepreneurs" play in the local economy and is committed to supporting such propositions.
"By using our knowledge and experience within the local market, Barclays Business has been delighted to support CLCA Company Ltd and wishes the business every success for the future.
"The business has grown rapidly over the last five years and continues to invest to identify new revenue streams."
Ms Adams added: "We offer a personalised service supporting adults and children with the same respect you would want for yourself or a member of your family.
"We deliver care that is safe, effective and well led. We specialise and understand the varying requirements of our clients who have a wide range of complex care needs such as spinal cord injury and other complex medical conditions and supporting clients to make the transition from Hospital to their own home as seamless as possible for either government or privately funded individuals. We also supply nurses and other health care professionals to private hospitals and the national health service to fill in staffing shortages across the UK."
