News : Sigma Systems Recognized by Gartner
Toronto, ON, July 7, 2014 -- Sigma Systems, a provider in catalog-driven Idea-to-Install products, announces that it has been recognized among top technology vendors in the report "Competitive Landscape: Cross-Channel, Centralized, Catalog-Driven CRM, Order Management and Service Fulfillment for CSPs, Worldwide, 2014" published by Gartner analyst Martina Kurth.
With the rise of e-commerce and the evolution of the digital economy, communications service providers (CSPs) face increased volume and complexity of new services. Gartner observes that "A centralized, real-time 'master catalog' of products, services and resources represents a critical product component of an operations/business support system (OSS/BSS) suite, which helps CSPs to drive product innovation and customer experience across increasingly complex, convergent environments and extended ecosystems. For CSP customers, the central catalog becomes a collaborative tool that helps to bridge the gap between CIO, CTO and CMO."
"Customers in the digital age are demanding increasingly richer services, content and capabilities from communications service providers, many of whom struggle with disparate OSS/BSS systems," said Tim Spencer, President and COO, Sigma Systems. The Gartner report evaluates Sigma's Idea-to-Install capabilities. In May, 2014, the Sigma Order Management product was selected as a finalist in the Pipeline COMET award for the most innovative support systems of the year. Sigma has also expanded its customer base with major service providers around the globe, including one of the largest media and broadcast companies in the United States, selecting Sigma products to create, sell and deliver new products.
