News : Simcoe Pharmacist Lauded for Customer Service
June 11, 2014 -- Blair Snow dispenses excellent service along with medications, and the pharmacist and co-owner at Roulston’s Pharmacy in Simcoe will be honoured for his exemplary customer service when he receives the Patient Impact Award at the Ontario Pharmacists Association’s annual conference in Niagara Falls June 21.
Snow, a resident of Port Dover, is being recognized for his "lasting impact on patient outcomes or community health and wellness," according to an OPA press release.
The veteran pharmacist developed an assessment and care plan and new medical administration procedures for several local retirement homes. At present, he is working with an assisted living agency on a new medication management and eMAR service for patients.
"Since my focus for the past 10 years has been long-term care, my most satisfying moments have come from my work in end-of-life care," Snow said.
The much-decorated pharmacist and business owner was previously named Norfolk County’s entrepreneur of the year in 2013.
