News : Sitel Celebrates Pompano Beach Customer Experience Center Grand Opening
Pompano Beach, FL, USA, Oct 16, 2015 -- Sitel, a global customer care provider, announced the grand opening of its Pompano Beach customer experience center and the availability of 1000 full-time positions. Sitel has already hired and trained 500 staff for the new center and is actively interviewing to fill 500 additional positions to provide outstanding customer experiences for a leading financial services provider.
City of Pompano Beach Mayor Lamar Fisher and Greater Pompano Beach Chamber President and CEO Ric Green will join Sitel Senior Vice President of Operations Mike Lee and Sitel Senior Vice President – Financial Services, Morris Applewhite, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the facility.
Mayor Fisher noted, "We are very pleased Sitel has located its customer experience center in the City of Pompano Beach and appreciate the economic impact and jobs created for our citizens. We look forward to a long and prosperous future with Sitel as an important member of our business community."
The company was assisted in establishing operations in Pompano Beach through a workforce partnership by CareerSource Broward, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the City of Pompano Beach and the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber.
