News : Circuit by Unify from TelekomCLOUD Allows Entry into Cloud Communications
Munich, Germany, June 14, 2016 -- Circuit, the cloud-based service for mobile communication and collaboration from Unify, is now available via TelekomCLOUD, the platform for all cloud offerings of Deutsche Telekom.
The offer is aimed at new customers and existing customers alike who already deploy Octopus FX. The security aspect should convince as well: All cloud offerings on TelekomCLOUD are hosted in the Telekom data center in Biere launched end of 2015. Thus all cloud services and their data are subject to German law.
The new Cloud Telephony Connector establishes a link between old and new world, meaning on-premise telephony and cloud collaboration. Customers can thus take advantage of both systems and are not forced to move their whole communications infrastructure to the cloud. When combined that way, telephony, group conversations, one-number service, voice and video conferencing flow together at your fingertips on one single pane of glass.
"Business today cannot be imagined without cloud computing, and it more and more becomes the motor of the digital economy. This is also true for modern communication and collaboration solutions," says Thomas Schmieske, Head of Channel Germany and Austria, Unify. "The offering via TelekomCLOUD is an important step in our common strategy to provide companies in Germany with secure, innovative cloud services. It is also a big leap towards our goal to establish Circuit as the one tool for business collaboration in the SaaS-market. With provisioning from Germany we fulfill the requirements of companies and organizations that need their complete data hosted within the German judicial area."
"We are linked with Unify by a long-lasting, successful partnership. We are delighted to add innovative real-time communication to the TelekomCLOUD with Circuit," says Hendrik Otten, Head of Commercial Management Inhouse, Telekom Deutschland GmbH. "In this way we extend our common offering for SMEs and the market leadership of Deutsche Telekom as a provider of cloud services ‘Made in Germany’, as already announced in December."
