
Chandigarh, India, July, 2019 -- The Student Organisation of India (SOI), the student outfit of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) decided to set up a helpline to assist the new students in their admissions in various colleges across the state.
This was disclosed by national president of SOI, S. Parminder Singh Brar after presiding over a meeting with the members of SOI Malwa Zone 3, which was attended by Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer president Malwa Zone 3, Iqbalpreet singh president Chandigarh Zone, Vicky Midukhera, Simran dhillon,Rasphal and other senior SOI members.
S. Brar said that in wake of upcoming admission season in different colleges of Punjab, they have decided a roadmap to help the new students and guide them in their admission process. SOI would also set up a helpline number soon.
"Students face a lot of inconvenience at the hands of college administration staff while trying to get admissions into their favorite streams. By this helpline, we will be just a call away to facilitate them in their admission process" he added.
