News : SOPHI Announces New Location in Cebu
Douglas, Isle of Man, Jan, 2018 -- SOPHI Inc., a business process outsourcing (BPO) company that provides call centre and back office solutions to tech startups, is expanding its operations and opening a new site in Cebu on April 1, 2018 at the Mabuhay Tower in Cebu IT Park. The expansion project coincides with SOPHI’s partnership with an online booking platform.
"SOPHI has maintained an increase in business growth by over 100 percent year-over-year. We have contributed to the employment of talent in Dumaguete, and we are excited to bring more job opportunities to Cebu," said Director, Andrew Cronin.

Cronin disclosed that the new location is projected to generate over 250 call centre jobs by the third quarter of 2018. Its partnerships with clients will focus on their Customer Experience Group (CEG).
"We’ve come a long way from our humble seven-person team handling student verifications back in 2008. We’re celebrating 10 years of outsourcing for startups in August," Cronin added.
