News : SpareFoot to Hire 25 Customer Service Workers
June 2, 2014 -- SpareFoot Inc. plans to hire 25 more workers for its call center.
The Austin-based company has scheduled a June 18 recruiting event at its downtown headquarters. SpareFoot’s so-called customer experience team, which now includes 58 SpareFoot workers, assists clients in finding and booking self-storage units, a company spokesman said Monday.

In February, the company completed a Series C round of financing from New York-based Insight Venture Partners. SpareFoot executives said they planned to use the capital to fund engineering and product development. They also expect to employ nearly 160 workers by the end of the year. Most of the new workers will be in customer service, engineering and product development.
