Wichita, KS, USA, July 9, 2015 -- Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. [NYSE: SPR] Global Customer Support and Services division recently received the Community Partner of the Year award from the Air Force Association's Gerrity Chapter in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The award recognizes a single community partner who has consistently supported the Air Force Association's Gerrity Chapter in its charter to advocate, educate, and support the United States Air Force and the Air Force family.
"Spirit AeroSystems has been a constant participant and supporter in virtually everything the AFA Gerrity Chapter has done over the last year, and has stood out among all other community partners as supporting our efforts," said Mark Tarpley, AFA Gerrity Chapter president.
