News : Staff Answer Call to Help Peterborough Charities
Peterborough, UK, August 16, 2014 -- Call centre staff put down their phones to help two Peterborough good causes.
Employees from local contact centre, Fusion, part of the BGL Group, gave their time to support Little Miracles, a charity for children with additional needs and Cross Keys Homes.
Sophie Cipriano, one of Fusion’s volunteers, said: "Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their volunteering days, and there was a real buzz when they returned to the office. It’s such a rewarding and invaluable experience to work together to make a real difference to the local community."
The staff helped out to maintain Little Miracles’ garden at their community centre, and hosted lunch and entertainment for a number of elderly people living in sheltered housing at Cross Keys Homes.
