News : STARTEK Launches 12 Days of Kindness Campaign

With this thought in mind STARTEK Mansfield Leadership is launching its second annual ’12 Days of Kindness’ campaign. On Dec. 1 the company's leadership team will be out in the community to make an impact on local lives.

"Our team is free to go to any location in our Community and spread some Kindness. We will be buying their groceries, paying for their meal or footing the bill for some of their Christmas presents," said Jeannine Lemus, Community Liaison. "This is a small way we can give back to our community and make an impact in people’s lives. Our hope is that this will inspire others. The smallest things can make the biggest impact."
STARTEK employees have joined the program.
"I was able to spread some cheer and joy to my hometown of Galion, Ohio today," said Engagement Manager Don Barnhart. "The first place I went to was a local grocery store where they have a program to buy family dinners for the holidays.
"While in line I was able to pay for a couple people's groceries that where in front of us. The older gentlemen stated that no one has ever done that for him and he was very grateful."
STARTEK said it hopes this will inspire others to give during this holiday season -- by demonstrating that one small act of kindness can inspire a community.
STARTEK is a call center located in Mansfield and has been open since 2008. It handles inbound customer service calls for several fortune 500 companies, employing over 600 people in the community.
