News : Call Centre to Support Soccer Aid

Manchester, England, June, 2018 -- Call centre company volunteers digital technology and personnel to manage the phone calls on Soccer Aid for Unicef on 10th June when pro-celebrity teams go head-to-head at Manchester’s Old Trafford Stadium.

Outsourced call centre services provider Yonder Digital Group is putting its mouths where the money is by making one of its call centres available to take calls and process donations for the Soccer Aid for Unicef telethon.

A team of seasoned Yonder Digital Group volunteers will be on hand on the big night to take calls from donors and process payments at the company’s Ipswich facility for the event on the evening of Sunday 10th June.

Its highlight is a pro-celebrity football match at Manchester United’s Old Trafford Stadium in which Usain Bolt’s Soccer Aid World XI takes on with Robbie Williams’ England XI, as part of a new look charity campaign for Unicef UK and ITV (which will broadcast exclusive live coverage of the event).

This year’s game features line-up of celebrities and sportsmen, including Sir Mo Farah, Eric Cantona, Gordon Ramsay, Olly Murs, Mark Wright, Brendan Cole, Joe Wicks, Clarence Seedorf, Robert Pirès, Yaya Tourè, Jaap Stam, Patrick Kluivert, Edwin van der Sar, Kevin Pietersen, David Seaman, Phil Neville, Jamie Redknapp, Danny Murphy, Michael Sheen, Ben Shephard, Nicky Byrne and Robbie Keane.

All public donations to Soccer Aid for Unicef will go towards supporting the work to protect children around the world. The money raised through profits from ticket sales and viewer donations during the match will add to the £24 million that has already been raised through Soccer Aid over the last 12 years. The UK government will match every £1 donated by the public through its UK Aid Match scheme.
