News : Stratus Contact Solutions Formally Announces Enid Call Center
Enid, OK, USA, April 30, 2015 -- Just after news of one call center closing in Enid comes word that another has opened.
Stratus Contact Solutions, a division of ILD Corp., expects to hire as many as 150 call center agents for its inbound call center. The company has been seeking employees through OnviSource Building for Inbound Call Center Agents at 2300 N. 10th.
StarTek, a longtime Enid call center that reopened only a few months ago, announced Wednesday, April 29, 2015, that it would shut down operations in Enid once again.
"The 70 temporary positions and 33 employees will have their positions eliminated," said Rosemary Hanratty, StarTek vice president of marketing. "The 33 employees will receive severance dependent on their length of service."
Stratus is not planning at this time to locate into the StarTek facility, a source said.
Stratus provides multi-channel inbound sales and customer care solutions as a full-service, U.S. based outsourced service provider, according to a press release sent by the company.

Stratus selected Enid for its call center location because of its skilled workforce, labor costs and collaborative approach to doing business with companies, according to the website.
"The expansion of our U.S. call center operation in Enid is validation of our strategy to provide quality multi-channel customer care and is in response to increased demand from clients," said Mike Lewis, Chairman and CEO for ILD Corp.
