News : SYKES Coming to Rome
Rome, GA, USA, July 11, 2016 -- SYKES Enterprises, a Denver-based multi-national corporation is bringing a new call center to Rome. The company expects to make a formal announcement of its plans to locate in the former Dell Services building, 125 Legacy Drive, off Technology Parkway, during an event tentatively scheduled for Aug. 2.
A job fair is slated to be held to help fill positions in the call center. The specific location and exact times for the job fair are yet to be determined and will be advertised in the Rome News-Tribune by this Friday, July 15.

SYKES would be seeking employees with some level of customer service experience and computer skills. Employees need to be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED who enjoy talking to people and problem solving.
SYKES provides customer care services on behalf of major corporations across several industries: retail, healthcare, financial services, technology, and telecommunications.
Rome and Floyd County economic development officials have been working with Sykes for close to a year and a half and looked at several different sites before settling on the Technology Parkway location which has approximately 40,000 square feet under roof.
