News : TalkTalk in Key Service Deal with Telefónica UK
Nov 17, 2014 -- Internet and phone provider TalkTalk has announced a deal which will provide access to the 2G, 3G and 4G services of Telefónica UK.
The multi-year mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) agreement has been described by TalkTalk, which employs around 1,000 staff at a Warrington call centre, as a significant commercial relationship for the business as it builds on its success so far in mobile services.
Dido Harding, TalkTalk chief executive, said: "This is a significant development for TalkTalk, building on our success in mobile to date."
Telefónica UK chief executive Ronan Dunne added: "We are pleased to be able to announce our commercial MVNO agreement with TalkTalk, which builds on our heritage of being the trusted provider for many notable MVNO, public and private sector organisations in the UK.
"We welcome the start of what we hope will be a successful and prosperous relationship for both parties."
