News : Technekes Acquires Stake in Xceleration and Relocates
Charlotte, NC, USA, July 1, 2015 -- Technekes, LLC has taken a large minority interest in its long-time partner, Xceleration, Inc., and, to accommodate expanded staff and services, has relocated its headquarter offices to the historic Grinnell Water Works building.
As part of the move, Xceleration, a provider of incentive and recognition solutions throughout North America, will also relocate its headquarters to Charlotte, while retaining offices in Atlanta, and opening a new office New York.
"We've worked hand in glove with Xceleration for years," says Steve Amedio, Technekes' president and COO. "Our missions are the same – helping clients maximize sales and marketing efforts."

As part of the deal, the two companies have taken a majority interest in Gravy, an innovative iOS and web-based application aimed at business and consumer gifting. Xceleration's president and COO, Ben Levenbaum, says, "This is an incredibly exciting time. Together, Technekes and Xceleration will occupy the Grinnell Water Works building, a registered national historic building, at the corner of W. Morehead Street and Summit Avenue, in the heart of Midtown.
