News : Telerx Increasing Workforce, Hiring 35
Hanover Township, NJ, Dec 12, 2014 -- Telerx, a customer service call center in the Hanover Industrial Estates, is increasing its workforce and hiring 35.
Positions are open for account representatives, particularly bilingual account representatives who speak Spanish, French and English, as well as supervisors and managerial positions, said Frank Pettinato, senior vice president and general manager of consumer connections for Telerx. He would not say how much the jobs pay.
About 350 work at the Hanover Township facility. The expansion is part of a trend that has been occurring over the last several months as a result of clients expanding, Pettinato said.
In May, Telerx acquired C3i, a provider of technology support services for the life sciences industry.
C3i opened a help desk facility earlier this year in CenterPoint Commerce and Trade Park East in Jenkins Township, where it announced plans to create 256 jobs. It was the third facility in Northeastern Pennsylvania for C3i, which already operates a facility on Armstrong Road in CenterPoint Commerce and Trade Park as well as a call center in Plains Township.
C3i’s two current local centers, combined with positions located on-site at a client in Swiftwater, created 354 jobs in the region over the last six years. Adding the 256 jobs announced earlier this year, that’s more than 600 jobs in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Telerx’s acquisition of C3i added to existing positions to support the pharmaceutical business and enabled it to support clients outside the U.S.
