Oct 3, 2014 -- International call center operator TeleTech Holdings Inc. plans to expand its presence in Greeley amid a larger expansion job growth in the U.S.
The Douglas County-based company (Nasdaq: TTEC) opened six domestic call centers since mid-summer and added 3,000 U.S. jobs over the past 18 months as it expands its work in health care and financial services, the company said.
"Our growth in the U.S. reflects the increasing demand for exceptional customer experience in every industry, especially healthcare and financial services," said Ken Tuchman, founder, chairman and CEO of TeleTech. "We are proud to be expanding our business in these two complex industries and have invested heavily in sourcing and training to provide resources that are certified to deliver services in these markets."
A TeleTech site in Greeley, a city where the company already employs 700, is planning to fill 225 additional jobs by the end of 2014. The company hasn’t released details about the nature of the jobs involved in the expansion.
In the past three months, TeleTech has opened call centers mainly for clients in health care that are in Jonesboro and Sherwood, Arkansas, and in Paducah, Kentucky.
Centers in Ennis, Texas; Melbourne, Forida and Hopkinsville, Kentucky expanded by a total of 800 jobs collectively so far this year, the company said.
