Denver, July 17, 2014 -- TeleTech Holdings, Inc., a global provider of analytics-driven, technology-enabled customer engagement solutions, announces its expansion in Arkansas with a new customer experience site in Jonesboro. The announcement, in conjunction with the Grand Opening of TeleTech's first Arkansas center in Sherwood yesterday, affirms TeleTech's commitment to supporting employment opportunities in Arkansas and in the U.S.
The opening of this new site, located at 2908 S Caraway Road, Jonesboro, AR 72401 is scheduled for August of this year, initially creating more than 150 jobs within the Jonesboro community, and the ability to expand up to 600 positions. In addition, TeleTech previously announced its creation of 250 jobs in Sherwood, and together with the Jonesboro site, TeleTech will initially employ 400 individuals in Arkansas with the capacity to expand to 1,000 positions.
"With an existing TeleTech site in Sherwood and a new site in Jonesboro, we are expanding our footprint in Arkansas," said Ken Tuchman, chairman and chief executive officer of TeleTech. "The new Jonesboro site will be integral to TeleTech's continued growth, particularly within the healthcare vertical, a complicated industry that requires an exceptional customer experience."
The site opening follows close collaborations with key TeleTech partners in Jonesboro, including the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Harold Perrin.
"TeleTech's decision to open not one, but two, facilities in Arkansas speaks volumes about the company's confidence in our state's workforce, both in Central and Northeast Arkansas," Governor Mike Beebe said. "The knowledge-based jobs TeleTech provides are essential to maintaining our state's diverse economy, and I am pleased that the company has chosen to expand its presence in our state."

TeleTech is currently actively hiring for its new Jonesboro site, which will support a healthcare insurance company. TeleTech is specifically looking to hire customer experience representatives, team leads, trainers, recruiters, technical assistance and IT specialists, operations managers and facilities staff.
