June 5, 2014 -- Telia said it has won a three-year contract with the Swedish national cartographic authority, Lantmateriet, following a competitive tender.
Telia will operate all of its internal and external communications under the deal, which has a two-year extension option.
Among other things, Telia will provide a nationwide IP telephony exchange, a contact centre, and a data network with 3G and 4G back-ups for the authority's support system for satellite positioning. Digital video-conferencing is also also covered by the agreement.
