News : Telia Wins Copenhagen City Council Call Centre Contract
July 3, 2014 -- Telia Denmark said it has won a contract from Copenhagen city council to supply a call centre system for deployment in its public contact office and other branches.
The deal runs for six years. There were seven qualified bidders, of whom two sent in bids.
Copenhagen picked Telia's cloud-based Callguide system, which will serve 500 members of staff and which can be updated as required. Previously, the city administration has used several different call centre systems running side by side.
The Callguide system will be implemented in August/September and will come into operation in the fourth quarter of 2014.
