News : Telstra Boosts Cloud Services with Stake in Panviva
Dec 10, 2014 -- Telstra has invested in Melbourne-based business process guidance software solutions company Panviva in a move designed to expand its cloud service offerings.
Panviva’s software solution – SupportPoint – will be used by Telstra to deliver online support for its contact centres.
The solution simplifies the interactions for contact centre and back office staff who navigate multiple and complex systems to service customers.
Telstra Global Enterprise and Services, Executive Director Global Services, Michelle Bendschneider, said the investment would contribute to Telstra’s strategy of expanding its cloud services offering and provide solutions to its enterprise and government customers.
According to Telstra Global Enterprise and Services, Executive Director Global Services, Michelle Bendschneider, the investment in Panviva has created an opportunity for Telstra and Panviva to better serve their customers.
Bendschneider said SupportPoint is delivered in the form of Software as a Service (SaaS) via the cloud and provides staff with "one-click access to the help desk information they need to do their jobs right first time working in real-time, alongside the applications open on their desktop".
