News : Telvista Call Center Staying in Danville, Adding 300 Jobs
Danville, VA, Dec 15, 2014 -- A call center is staying in Danville, and planning to bring 300 new jobs to the area.
Telvista announces that it renewed its lease at the employment center at 119 Cane Creek Boulevard in Danville.
Telvista is based in Dallas. The company plans to bring around 300 new jobs to the area, which would increase its number of employees from 280 to 580.
The company occupies 62,000 square feet at the Cane Creek facility, which is owned by the Industrial Development Authority of Danville. The company is described as a "call center outsourcing firm that helps brands acquire and support customers through customer contract centers and web-based application solutions."

"Telvista has thrived in Danville since opening its facility in April 2005, and we celebrate the addition of 300 new jobs in a region that continues to rebound economically," Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe said in a news release. "Creating jobs of the 21st century that are not tied to federal contracts will help us build a new Virginia economy, and we thank Telvista for its commitment to the Commonwealth."
