News : The UK Sees a Future in the Death of the Call Centre
London, UK, Nov 24, 2014 — UKIT selected Italian WeLikeCRM’s Chorally product as a winner of UK Italy Springboard’s Special Creative Industries Prize, offering support in the process of establishing the start-up’s global headquarters in the UK.
Christopher Prentice, the British Ambassador to Italy, presented the award.
As noted by the jury, Chorally’s claim that the call center is dying is controversial, however the vision for customer engagement where smart routing makes any employee a potential "best point of contact" must have hit a nerve.
The way Chorally sees it, the age of data changes everything, because everyone is already part of the conversation. Any employee is the potential best point of contact for an inbound customer request, and employees as well as customers are no longer just passive consumers of information – they are co-creators and curators.
"Knowledge and passion lives everywhere", says Fabio Castronuovo, CEO of WeLikeCRM spin-off Chorally, "the boundaries we grew up with do not exist in the age of data."

The UK Italy Springboard competition was held at the University of Turin's Campus Luigi Einaudi, Thursday 20th November.
