News : Thriving Parseq to Create Jobs Across Operations
Nov 12, 2014 -- Rotherham-headquartered Parseq is set to create jobs at all of its UK sites as it looks to hit a turnover target, its chief executive has told Insider.
The business process outsourcer has bases in Sunderland, Brighton, Glasgow and London and has recently boosted its workforce to about 3,000 staff with a number of acquisitions.
One of the most recent was that of 2Touch in Sunderland in May. The company has this week created 150 jobs at the site, which Parseq chief executive Derwyn Jones told Insider would "certainly help" accelerate growth towards the target.
"The jobs have been created because of an additional service one of our clients has decided to use us for. The team in Sunderland have great, long relationships with their clients and I see this as a solid foundation for continued growth," he said.

"The plan is to grow the whole Parseq business across all of its sites so we expect employment opportunities in all of the areas identified [Rotherham, Brighton, Glasgow and London].
"We're recruiting for a number of roles in Rotherham at the same time as the expansion in Sunderland."
Following the acquisition of both 2Touch and charity contact centre Pure this year, Jones added: "If a business which enhanced our ability to achieve our ambitions became available at the right price, we'd clearly look at it."
