
Rome, Italy, Nov 27, 2019 -- Telecom Italia (TIM) wants to ensure that all of its call centre activities are located in Italy within a maximum of two years, according to CEO Luigi Gubitosi.
Speaking at a business convention in Milan, the chief executive acknowledged that many customer service activities had been outsourced to foreign call centres in recent years but that "from 09 December fixed line queries will only be answered from Italy."
According to Corriere delle Comunicazioni he went on to add that talks with suppliers are being held to guarantee that "even with regard to mobile services, we will bring it all back.
