News : Time Warner Adding 40 Part-time Jobs
Appleton, WI, Jan 13, 2015 -- A cable company that's in the midst of merger talks, is adding 40 more part-time jobs, at its call center, in Appleton.
Federal officials are reviewing a deal between Time Warner Cable and Comcast. If it goes through, Charter Communications is expected to become the cable provider, in the area. Time Warner spokesman Mike Hogan says they need the new positions in Appleton, to keep up with customer demand.
Hogan says he's confident that Charter will keep the workers in Appleton, if the merger goes through.
