Tokyo, Japan, May 19, 2016 -- transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda; TSE First Section: 9715; hereafter, transcosmos) has made additional investment in Social Gear PTE LTD (Headquarters: Singapore; CEO: Shunsuke Sato; hereafter, Social Gear), a company which provides social media operational support, and acquired 100% ownership of the company. At the same time, transcosmos elected Mr. Shunsuke Sato, CEO of Social Gear, a candidate for its Director & CMO.
Social Gear owns 2 official certifications such as "Community Management" and "Ad Technology" in the "Facebook Marketing Partner", the official Marketing Partner Program of Facebook(R). The company provides ads distribution/ optimization services through sophisticated Facebook operational support capability with leveraging Facebook insights and "social gear Ads+", the Facebook Ads operational service tool.
transcosmos has been providing social media operation and ads support in multi-languages in Japan and ASEAN countries since the company signed strategic alliance agreement with Social Gear in June 2015. With making Social Gear a wholly owned subsidiary, transcosmos, together with Social Gear, will drive efforts on developing services for Facebook while sharing technology, people and know-how.
