News : transcosmos' Subsidiary to Establish Its Own Building in Suzhou, China
Tianjin, China, Oct 29, 2013 - Suzhou transcosmos Information Creative Co., Ltd., (headquarters: Tianjin, China; President: Kokkei Nakayama), a 100% subsidiary of transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda; TSE First Section: 9715; hereafter, transcosmos), in China's off-shore development business, has established its own building "transcosmos Outsourcing Center Suzhou" in Suzhou Jiangsu, China. Two subsidiaries which offer off-shore services in Suzhou will be moving in to expand their capacities and aim at growing into a total outsourcing site with 1000 plus employees by the Year 2017.
Suzhou is located approximately 70 kilometers west of Shanghai, an hour away from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, making it convenient and accessible from Japan. It has been well-known for its scenic views since the old days, praised as "up above, there is Heaven; on earth, there are Suzhou and Hangzhou." China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park (Suzhou Industrial Park, SIP), a model figure in China in many areas such as urban planning, environmental structure, human resource development, and economic development, has made it attractive for many IT corporations and foreign-capital corporations to enter the market with such measures as inviting outsourcing corporations and with abundant human resources and reasonable costs. It is a historical city with vitality as a driving force for China's economic development.
"transcosmos Outsourcing Center Suzhou" will secure an unyielding status in the off-shore business for the Japan market, and at the same time, will partake development of systems integration business and BPO business for the China market and will aim at expanding as one of transcosmos' total outsourcing service sites. In addition to the first phase building, construction of the second phase is to follow, and together with the "E-commerce total-service center" to be established within the same facility, the Center will aim at having a scale of 1000 plus employees and ?3,000 million in sales by the Year 2017.
