Tokyo, Japan, Sept 7, 2016 -- Transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda; TSE First Section: 9715; hereafter, transcosmos), has awarded the highest level certification, the 3 star, from the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare for its excellence in promoting women in the workplace, under the "Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace (hereafter, the Act)", as of August 30, 2016.

The ministry grants the certification to the companies that show superior efforts in promoting women in the workplace among the ones that developed and submitted the action plan based on the Act. The certification has three levels and the companies are evaluated on five items, all of which have set standard for certification. After the evaluation process, qualified companies receive certification according to the number of standards the company meets. Now, transcosmo has earned the highest, the third level certification, which comes with 3 stars.
