News : TransPerfect Expands Call Center Capabilities with Second Tempe Location
New York & Tempe, Ariz., April 21, 2014 --TransPerfect Remote Interpreting (TRI), a provider of call center support and over-the-phone interpretation services, announces the opening of a second call center in the Tempe, Arizona area. TRI plans to hire nearly 400 interpreters to work in the new facility.
TRI’s suite of on-demand solutions includes traditional over the phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI), as well as email translation, in-language chat, on-site interpreting, and translations services. While TRI’s parent company, TransPerfect, maintains a worldwide network of service and production offices, all TRI services are performed in the U.S. to remove international security concerns.
"The demand for U.S.-based language services has been growing dramatically. As American companies continue to steer away from offshore call centers due to security risks, this new interpretation center will allow TransPerfect to better serve its regional and national clients," said Liz Elting, Co-CEO, TransPerfect. "With the strong candidate pool in the Phoenix metro area, we look forward to staffing our new facility with a wide variety of linguists as well as technical and management personnel over the course of 2014."
