New York, NY, USA, July 19, 2018 -- TransPerfect, a provider of language and technology solutions for global business, announced that it has honored V R Ferose with a lifetime achievement award for his significant contributions in the areas of global philanthropy, diversity, and inclusion.

This first of its kind honor recognizes Ferose’s wide-reaching accomplishments both within and beyond the workplace through his work to emphasize focus on "coolabilities"—enhanced abilities that may accompany disabling conditions—rather than disabilities, as well as his advocacy for providing career opportunities for individuals and groups who may have historically been overlooked.

V R Ferose is SVP and Head of Globalization Services at SAP. He is a Board Member of the Specialisterne Foundation, a not-for-profit organization with the goal of creating one million jobs globally for people with autism, and founded the India Inclusion Foundation in 2016 to create awareness about disabilities in India. In 2017, Ferose was conferred the AUCD award for his trailblazing Autism at Work initiative. He is also the co-author of Gifted, a best-seller highlighting the inspiring stories of people with disabilities.

TransPerfect traditionally welcomes a diverse range of speakers to address its employees at the company’s annual sales and client service conferences; however, this is the first speaker to be honored with an award recognizing his/her work.
