News : TravPax Signs Thomas Cook India
Singapore, Jan 8, 2016 -- TravPax Solutions signed an agreement with Thomas Cook India, earlier this week, to implement TravPax 5 Solution across Thomas Cook India’s omni channel distribution of call centres and franchises, across India.
TravPax will support Thomas Cook India’s move to centralize and manage reservations of hotels, flights and packages from its offline franchise outlets, via its call centres, to online booking websites.
Commenting on the partnership, Thomas Cook India chief operating officer IT & E services, Amit Madhan said: "At Thomas Cook India, technology is at the forefront of our strategy and given today’s rapidly growing base of digital connected consumers, offering immediate options and value driven rates for travel bookings is vital."

TravPax will be implemented first in Thomas Cook India, but with the rights to be used by other brands of the firm.
Besides the reservations and operation activities, TravPax will control the financial transactions with full interface to TCIL corporate third-party platforms in the back.
