News : Tuschen Call Centre to be Operational by June
Tuschen, Guyana, March 9, 2016 -- Three hundred persons within Region Three (Essequibo Islands-West Demerara) are to gain employment with the completion of the Tuschen call centre at East Bank Essequibo, GINA said yesterday.
The project which began under the previous administration in 2014, now comes under the Ministry of Business’ Rural Development Project and will be completed in June of this year, GINA said.

According to Minister of Business, Dominic Gaskin in his contribution to the 2016 Budget Debate, "Budget 2016 provides $195M for the completion of remaining works on Tuschen, Enmore and Leguan Rural Enterprise Development projects."
Another call centre is being established at Enmore, East Coast Demerara and GINA said that the Ministry of Business will seek potential investors and make the necessary investment once the call centre is completed and operationalised.
