News : Up to 70 Jobs Created at Domestic and General
Nottingham, England, July 9, 2018 -- Domestic and General (D&G) is now hiring up to 70 people in their bid to turn Nottingham into their international "flagship" base.
Domestic and General (D&G) already employ more than 850 people in Nottingham but now want even more.
Customer contact director for D&G, Jo Hale, said the company now wants to become a part of the Nottingham community.
Mrs Hale said: "We are really pumping money into Nottingham and wanted to make Notts a flagship for us.
"We are hiring now and are looking to recruit 60-70 people over the next three to six months."

D&G said it is offering a variety of roles including part-time and full-time jobs in the company's customer service, training and planning teams.
Mrs Hale added: "We're not just a call centre. We have training roles, planning roles, and we will look to put people in the best place based on their skills.
"We have needed to expand and we've already recruited 220 extra roles in Nottingham in December.
"We currently employ 872 people in Nottingham. It is our biggest call centre site.
"When someone buys a new fridge or freezer or washing machine there is a telephone number that you can ring. We then register the appliance and we can provide warranties.
"People might not necessarily recognise Domestic and General as a brand of its own but almost everyone has an appliance that is connected to us without realising it. We have 16 million customers worldwide.
Mrs Hale says she expects further expansions in the near future meaning more jobs for people in Nottingham.
"We're trying to create a community, family feel. We want to become part of Nottingham and have Nottingham people work for us.
"D&G are a 24-hour service and so we offer a mix of full-time and part-time roles across the company.
"We give all our staff three weeks training and we will continue to look for great people who are eager to provide a really good service to our customers."
