News : TriWest Healthcare Alliance Will Hire 500 for Call Center
Kansas City, MO, USA, July 31, 2015 -- TriWest Healthcare Alliance said Friday that it plans to hire 500 for a new call center and offices in Kansas City.
The Phoenix-based company announced that it will open a 64,000-square-foot call center and administrative offices at 7930 NW 110th St., near Kansas City International Airport. The new center will open Sept. 8.
TriWest is a contractor for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and its expansion into Kansas City is part of a 2,500-person nationwide hiring spree.
The company administers the VA’s Patient-Centered Community Care program, including the Veterans Choice Program, which is part of a five-year contract.
The announcement came Friday morning from Gov. Jay Nixon. Triwest's call center in Tempe, Ariz., included 300 hires, and one announced Thursday in Nashville will hire 250 more. Other cities with recently announced centers are Puyallup, Wash., and Honolulu.
