News : Valenzuela Offers Free Call Center Training-seminar
Valenzuela City, Philippines, April 9, 2015 -- A monthly free call center training-seminar will be conducted in Valenzuela starting April.
The Office of Valenzuela City Congressman Sherwin Gatchalian has joined forces with Southgate Premiere Services to conduct a two-week seminar every month for individuals who want to be a part of the growing call center and business process outsourcing or BPO industries.
Southgate Premiere Services currently has ties with telecommunication and BPO companies.
The first batch of call center training-seminar will be held at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela.
The first batch of trainees include 22 job hunters who registered during the mega-job fair held February 28.
Under the project of Southgate, will provide lectures on the basics of call center activities, interviews, call simulations, and techniques in call handling.
Trainers will also provide lessons on language improvement, particularly on grammar, pronunciation, and enunciation. Pointers on how to enhance their personality and build confidence when talking to clients will also be discussed.

After the 10-day training-seminar, account managers of Southgate Premiere Services will assess and interview the graduates at their main office in Quezon City.
Trainees who successfully passed the interview will be immediately endorsed by Southgate Premiere Service to one of its call center clients.
To join the training program, one must be a resident of Valenzuela City, aged 18 to 55, at least high school graduate, able to commit to a 10-day training, conversant and willing to learn.
