News : Verizon Looks to Hire 260 in Alabama, Georgia During Virtual Career Fair

Huntsville, AL, USA, July 20, 2015 -- While you may want to update your resume and list of references, you can keep your dress clothes in the closet for Verizon's career fair in cyberspace.
The mobile communications provider is looking to hire more than 1,000 workers across the country in the wireless sales, customer service and technical support fields during the second half of 2015. Verizon said 260 retail positions will be filled in Alabama and Georgia.
Prior to the event, applicants should sign up for an account on verizon, where a list of jobs is available.

Verizon says it is targeting students and graduates from more than 100 colleges, including the University of Alabama and Auburn University.
